Digital Sensor "Low Voltage / Low Power Digital Switch" AFL Series

Low power consumption, low power supply voltage, digital switch.

【Features】 ● Operates at low supply voltage (down to 0.9V) ● Low power consumption ● Digital switch output ● Accurate detection of weak magnetic fields ● Ultra-small package (MSOP8/TDFN6) ● Available in millimeter-scale die ● No damage from exposure to strong magnetic fields 【Overview】 The AFL series sensors from NVE are digital switches designed to operate at very low supply voltages and very small currents. This part can operate on a single battery. The output is configured as a switch that detects the level of the magnetic field. The output turns on at a specified magnetic field strength and turns off when the magnetic field is removed. There are two types of output configurations: current sink and current source. Both configurations can supply current up to 100μA. External pull-up or pull-down resistors are required. These devices are available in NVE's MSOP8 or TDFN6 packages, as well as in die form.

Digital Sensor "Bipolar Digital Switch" ADV Series

Bipolar operation (ON in S magnetic field, OFF in N magnetic field), high sensitivity, operates in very small magnetic fields.

【Features】 ● Bipolar operation (ON in S magnetic field, OFF in N magnetic field) ● High sensitivity, operates in very small magnetic fields ● Digital switch output ● MSOP8, TDFN6 package ● No damage even when exposed to strong magnetic fields 【Overview】 The ADV001-00E is a GMR digital switch product that uses unique bipolar output GMR materials. This material holds the sensor at the operating point when a negative (S pole) magnetic field is applied and holds it at the release point when a positive (N pole) magnetic field is applied. This sensor is ideal for applications such as magnetic encoders with rotating N and S poles, where a part turns on with one polarity of the magnetic field and turns off with the opposite polarity.

Digital Sensor "Nano Power Digital Switch" ADL Series

Nano Power Digital Switch

【Features】 ● Ultra-small 1.1mm x 1.1mm x 0.45mm ULLGA package ● Accurately detects weak magnetic fields ● Operates at low voltage (2.4V to 3.6V) ● Power consumption of 72nW (Typical) at 2.4V ● Digital switch output ● Continuous operation version and duty cycle version 【Overview】 The sensors in the ADL series are GMR digital switches designed to operate at low voltage and extremely low current. The device is manufactured using spintronic GMR technology, resulting in an unprecedented combination of small size, high sensitivity, high precision, and low power consumption. NVE's new ULLGA leadless package measures 1.1mm x 1.1mm x 0.4mm. The bare die (0.625mm x 0.625mm) can be used in applications with very tight space constraints. Configured as a magnetic switch, the output turns ON when a magnetic field is applied and turns OFF when the magnetic field is removed. The applied magnetic field can be of either polarity, and the operating point is very stable with respect to supply voltage and temperature.
